    If someone was born in 1950 and died in 2000, he was 50. You see this by subtracting the born year from the death year:

    2000 - 1950 = 50

    So in your case, since it's "BC", use negative numbers, so this looks like:

    -322 - (-384)

    -322 + 384

    62 years old

    The only thing that may happen differently in a question like this is if one is born in "BC" and died in "AD", you must subtract 1 as there is no year 0.  So someone born in 30 BC and died in 30 AD would be 59 years old.

    Your question is in present tense. Are you certain that you want that? It is very unusual to discuss the current age of people who are not even alive.
