    A ridiculous amount.

Use your money to enjoy life now and to help others to have some sort of life. Don't waste it on idiocy.

It's about $12,000 or so; If I remember right, Gene Shoemaker (he discovered the comet that walloped Jupiter) had some of his ashes sent to the moon...

    • And whether or not we send remains to the moon, the act itself will not help much with the starving and homeless, or feeding kids... Many of the 'values' we need to re-evaluate are the choices many of us make to better our future.

The practice should be outlawed at all costs.

There are already enough human remains on the moon.

Every time humans leave, their trash remains.  Just like here on earth.

Link?  Wouldn't the link give an idea of the cost?
