The unadjusted trial balance is simply a list of the balances on the general ledger. The adjusting entries for accruals, prepayments, depreciation etc. are recorded to create the adjusted trial balance. They are all part of the accounting cycle.

Dah. Unadjusted trial balance is before adjusting journal entries. The relationship between them is meaningless.
