    They're not really interested in persuading the majority to come to their side.  They're interested in keeping their own voter base engaged and angry.

    Just yesterday, the DOJ admitted 2 of 4 warrants letting the FBI spy on ex-Trump aide Carter Page were not valid. The DOJ now says it didn't have probable cause to think Carter Page might be acting as an agent of a foreign power, which was required to surveil him. Oopsy doopsy.
