People were using tools, making clothes, baskets, footwear. They'd already domesticated sheep, pigs, camels, dogs, cats and goats. They had boats and were fishing with nets even in the oceans.

to be honest its most likely to be a changed world, humans will have killed themselves and most of mammalian life off , the detritus of humanity will still be evident, but nature will have covered over the cities with new growth of grasses tress , insects will be everywhere with only a very few humans if any lift to eek out a menial existence.

The 3rd millennium BC spanned the years 3000 through 2001 BC. This period of time corresponds to the Early to Middle Bronze Age, characterized by the early empires in the Ancient Near East. In Ancient Egypt, the Early Dynastic Period is followed by the Old Kingdom.
