What does Black Alone mean as a racial identifier? Does it mean Black, Hispanic?

If someone is listed as just Black and nothing else, does this mean Black Alone and does it mean Black, Hispanic?

It means the persons skin shade is black and they or the census enumerator identifies them as black..it doesn't mean anything else, it doesn't tell you what country they came from nor where their ancestors came from , nor what language they speak

I've never heard the term before, but if I were to guess, I'd say it means pure sub-Saharan African, with no dilution or mixing with other races.

These days, it's all about how a person self-identifies anyway.

    It would mean black, non-Hispanic.

ps, The term the US Census uses is " Black or African American Alone".
