There are so many variables considered in UK car insurance, that the costs for one person living in one postcode, with one driving history and one profession, on one day from one insurer via one website for one car, used for one purpose with one annual mileage and parked in one place overnight will change if any of those "one" things change. Even the day - the quote you will get tomorrow may not be the same as the quote you get today.

The lowest recorded cost for a year's insurance is 96p (£120.96 quote, £70 cashback from the insurer, a further £50 cashback through a cashback website, in 2009), but for a high-risk young driver in a high-group car, with a high interest rate applied for paying monthly, it could easily cost a few hundred pounds per month.

We can't tell you because insurance rates are based on about 20 pieces of information that are specific to you, including age, gender, your driving history, your credit history, what car you own, how much you drive, what the primary use of the car will be, where the vehicle will be parked when not in use, who else might have access to the vehicle, the level of coverage you require, and several other things. That's why you need to contact multiple insurance companies to find out what your premiums will be. They need ALL this information to calculate risk.

Depends.  You can get a free quote from any insurance company.  There are also services that will compare quotes from multiple companies and provide you with the information.

Depends where you live and what you drive and your driving record.
