Was Mrs Sacoolas wrong to claim diplomatic immunity?

Of course she can claim diplomatic immunity as diplomats and their immediate families can. However should she ? It was an accident caused by her driving on the wrong side of the road.

Pretty cowardly, morally reprehensible.  She killed someone then ran away.  She knew the gravity of the offence and so claimed diplomatic immunity.  Apparently another vehicle was caught driving on the wrong side of the road coming out of the air base recently.  If Americans can’t be trusted with driving without endangering the public, they should be banned from driving in this country full stop.

Tell that to the dead boy's parents. Tell them that the woman who killed their son will not be held accountable, and they're just "making a mountain out of a molehill".

She should have stayed and faced the music. Shows what cowards the Yanks are. Diplomatic Immunity should not be allowed in cases such as this. There was another near miss the other day from the same camp.

It wasn’t an accident. It was caused by her recklessly driving on the wrong side of the road.

Trump shows the contempt he has for U.K. people by refusing to cooperate with her extradition to face justice.

That’s the reality of our new friend when we’ve burned our boats with Europe.

Here's a similar "wrong side of the road" case. https://beta.northumbria.police.uk/latest-news/2019/july/a-careless-driver-whose-actions-led-to-the-death-of-a-father-of-three-has-been-handed-a-suspended-sentence-by-a-judge/

It seems that her husband was not actually a *diplomat*, but a security agent in the American spy base, so, she should not have been allowed to claim it, but, with Boris and Co. Desperate for an American trade deal at any cost this year, no real attempt will be made to bring her back...

Some vague journey? You mean to visit her mother in Iran? To take her daughter to see her grandparents? I know it's unlikely that anyone from Iran reads your ramblings, but if they did, your lies about her being a spy could do harm. "Look, even the British people are saying she's a spy"

she should have stuck around,it's not like she would have got any prison time.

but now we know americans cannot be trusted and i encourage the British government to refuse all future extradition requests from america.
