    At map making companies, civil engineering firms, environmental asset companies, mining and oil drilling companies, schools, colleges.

    Source(s): 50 years ago I worked for a geophysical company. Map maker there taught me a lot. Later I helped navigator on the exploration ship in the Caribbean. I had an Economics degree, with minor in physics at the time.
