What is that saying that goes: "so and so....me a new one."?
I forgot what the first part of it. It's like... tore me a new one, or...ripped me a new one. I can't remember. In context you'd say it like you are criticizing someone: So and so blanked me a new one."

tore or ripped are both used. My boss tore me a new one after I drop the pallet off the forklift. My boss ripped me a new one (after etc.).
It is beyond criticism, it is a form of verbal abuse, complete berating.

It's very vulgar. The full version is essentially that someone gave you a new anus- that they attacked you so badly that it made a new hole in you. It's become very overused and cliche.
