Can a forceful punch to the forearm cause a wrist fracture? ?

Thanks. I know it wouldn’t be usual from this kind of blunt trauma but my wrist has now been swollen for 4 days and has a massive bruise over it. Would rather avoid going in for an x ray so I just want to know if it’s even possible for it to be a fracture or if there’s very little chance?

Could cause a forearm fracture, distal swelling of from gravity pulling the fluid to the lower part of the arm
