Does anyone else here have a Publix credit union account? ?
I have a Publix credit union savings account that I opened about 10 years ago. If I close that account, and I no longer work for Publix, will I be able to open another account with them in the near future?

Not sure, but why would you close it & then want to re-open. Just leave a small balance in it.

Once a member, always a member unless you cancel & no longer qualify. Just keep the $50 or whatever with them if you want to keep the account. Most CUs do not require that much. I am a member of many. Most have $5 minimums, a few have $25. But some have inactivity fees too. So do something once every 5 months. Even a 1 penny deposit. Every inactivity fee i have ever gotten was waived when i asked. But I don't let it happen again.
Why is the publix CU so good? Rates are not good. Deposit rates anyway.
