So you haven't heard of portable USB hard drives yet?

Those discs? You just keep them. Backups are like insurance. You buy them then put away in a safe place hoping you never want to use it ever.

Whoa!  That's a blast from the past!

Welcome to 2020 where we can save things on USB disk drives of varying sizes. When you figure out how large (in Gigabytes) your backup was, visit Amazon and consider buying a USB thumb drive slightly larger than your data size.

Now to answer your question -- you'd have to tell us which utility you used to perform the 90-hour backup you just did.  Then we'd probably tell you to run the same program and see if it has a Restore function.

Wow!  I'm curious. If you get a chance, please tell us the following:

    a. Which version of Windows are you using?

    b. Make & model of laptop you're using?

    c. Was it 20 CDs or DVDs?
