All of the UK, our taxes will go up, unemployment higher, mortgage rate goes up, price of food goes up etc - 6 months from now we will be in a sorry state and things will be a million times worse. I am old enough to remember life before we joined the EU when we had 3 day weeks, power cuts, bread and sugar strikes and empty shelfs in supermarkets and high unemployment etc.

We had all that in 78-79 as well. We had been in the EU for a while then.

To me the word 'Britain' means the island of Britain which is separate from the island of Ireland although in some contexts it can imply the whole of the UK.  Northern Ireland which is part of the UK will be treated after Brexit in a different way to Scotland, Wales and England so as not to create a 'hard border' on the island of Ireland.  Exactly how it's all going to work remains to be seen.

It will affect all of the UK. N Ireland may be hit differently as it is the only part of the UK with a land border with another country and the Republic of Ireland is an EU member.

Britain and the UK are synonymous names. The full title of the country is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

United Kingdom, UK mm Great Britain, GB , Britain for short.

It will affect the whole of the country.

They're the same thing, so what are you talking about?  "Britain" is a word commonly used to mean the UK.  And what does this have to do with UK travel?
