Not if there's no way to live forever.

Since I don't know everything in the universe, I don't know if it is possible to live forever or not.

Having knowledge doesn't kill you... usually it's the *lack* of knowledge that does it.  And, just because you're the smartest person in the universe doesn't necessarily make you immortal.

How do you know we don't already have all the knowledge capable of being extracted from the universe. Seeking and acquiring knowledge takes effort, and therefore takes time and has a cost. The more knowledge gained the more effort needed to acquire what is left. Soon enough the effort required exceeds all available effort, at which time acquisition stops.

Indications are that we are already close to the point where the global economy is struggling to maintain itself, so there will be insufficient effort available to apply to knowledge acquisition.

In other words: we have peaked, and it's all downhill from here. Flintstones here we come. Yabba Dabba Dooooo.

That's impossible to say because we have no idea what knowledge (if any) exists beyond Earth.

Plus having knowledge is not the same thing as a willingness to implement knowledge.  I mean roughly everyone knows that you'll live longer eating healthy food, and yet the majority of people still cram their faces full of McDonalds.  So wouldn't it be insane to consider that such a person who literally knows everything is still too lazy to do anything practical?

If it was possible to expand their species life span and they had the materials then yes they’d be able to do it. But the method and materials may be beyond their means.
