even though wwe wrestling is scripted do wwe wrestlers take it very seriously like its a real sport when it comes to win and loss record?

    Yeah they take it seriously. Wins means getting a push to the top. There's more money at the top. It's their livelihood. So that's the goal.

    I think the record most wrestlers are concerned with is their bank account.

  • In my mind Professional Wrestlers have Incentive Clauses in their Contracts just as most Professional Athletes have in their Contracts. Championships are a sign that The Company believes that Fans will buy Tickets to Live Events and watch your Matches, Interviews, Promos, etc on Television, The Internet, Social Media, Streaming Services and other Platforms. I think those count for more than your Won-Loss Record. Merchandise Sales are also an indicator of how much interest the viewing audience has in you.
