Hard painless white growth in mouth?

I have a hard, white, painless, fast growing lump at the base of my tooth (tongue side). I haven’t injured it. It is very firmly attached, like bone. What could it be? The closest thing I’ve found googling are mandibular tori, but this is white not pink/fleshy. It looks like bone protruding in my mouth. Has anyone had this before/what was it? It’s a month wait before I can see a dr due to my insurance. Thanks in advance!

Update:

When I mentioned not being able to see a dr that includes a dentist, I have state insurance and it’s an incredible wait. I don’t think it’s cancerous, I know it can’t 100% be ruled out but I don’t smoke and I’m pretty healthy overall.
