Spacetime is a 4 dimensional manifold made up of 3 space dimensions and 1 time dimension. To compute distance between spacetime points, the time coordinate must be multiplied by sqrt(-1).

Spacetime can be curved or flat. A curvature is gravity.

Spacetime is any mathematical model that fuses the three dimensions of space and the one dimension of time into a single four-dimensional continuum.

It could be based on the idea that space can stretched or compressed, then time is affected as well.

It is simply a vector space (a mathematical device to make some calculations easier) in four dimensions, where one dimension is constructed by using time, and multiplying it by the speed of light (just so it becomes a "distance" like the other three dimensions).

It is a vector space that makes it easier to do calculations involving the expansion of space. If the distance metric is reversed for the 4th dimension, then it becomes a vector space to make it easier to make calculations relating to the theories of Relativity (Restricted or General).

To plot the position of an object, you need four coordinates: the usual 3 spatial dimension and the exact moment where the object was at that spot. This makes it possible to have two distinct objects at the same spot... as long as it is not at the same time.

Unlike the local (Observable) Universe in 3 dimensions, the spacetime vector space used to represent the history of the universe is curved. The curvature comes from the expansion of space (distances change with time, even for objects that are completely stopped in their own local space).

Space is measured in cubic meter,Time is measured in second.

as per Einstein Space is inversely proportional to Time.

T'= k To.

D' =Do/k.

Time indicates motion

mass displace Space during its motion

the Displacement is a volume of space.

Space goes thru oscillatory mass displacement measured as a frequency.

Minkowski invented a way to describe space and time using a cone illustration cut out of a sphere.Einstein did not agree with that.

Space-time is what Einstein refers to when he is thinking of the force of gravity. In fact, he also theorized the presence of gravitational waves that "moved" on a fabric and resulting from black holes or neutron stars colliding. Even hypernovae produce those waves too. Einstein named this the space-time fabric. It is all over the universe and it warps in the presence of celestial bodies, and sustains the waves themselves, as well as matter all over space.

In 2015, the first gravitational wave arrived on Earth confirming the existence of the space-time fabric.
