If Trump did “absolutely nothing wrong,” why is his team going to such extraordinary lengths to muzzle Bolton?

Trump did wrong by not being black and being married to a transgender

It's called Executive Privilege and maintaining the separation of powers. Besides, what you do not get, is that if Pelosi and Schiff really wanted to hear from Bolton, they first could have subpoenaed him, which they did not do. Then they could have taken that subpoena to court to compel him to testify in the House impeachment inquiry! If the court ruled in their favor, they would have had his testimony long before now. They chose NOT to do that. Why not? That's standard operating procedure.

Why didn't the house subpoena Bolton?  Why didn't the house use the courts when the executive branch didn't comply with the house, as is their right?  The question should be, if the house really wanted to hear from him, why didn't they use the available paths to them?  Or is it better just out there as a talking point?

The Democrats have been on a fishing expedition for 3 years.  At this point, we all know it's never going to end.  Enough is enough.

Who said he did nothing wrong? This is politics. It'a all about partisan politics. Why can Kerry and Biden get big jobs for their kids in industries where they have no experience? Then Republicans must ask a Democratic House to investigate them?

Deep down I believe there are serious errors and bad faith on BOTH SIDES. I'm from a the black and white world of right and wrong. Not this grey world of playing politics.

    And Mulvaney, and McGhan…

In fact, the Trump administration tried to forbid ANY public servant from serving any subpoena.

The Trump administration operates at unprecedented levels of secrecy. There's still that question of all those other Trump calls transferred to ultra-secret servers for non-security reasons. His taxes… the White House visitors' logs, no press briefing in almost a year.

Why should Bolton testify? You already proved that Trump did nothing wrong. Biden has been shown to be a criminal and engaging in enriching his family in MANY cases.

Clearly, it was in the national interest to look into why aid was threatened by Biden.  If you think it was not in the national interest, then you have to explain why it is in the national interest to look into Trump delaying the aid.

If Trump did nothing wrong, he would allow every one involved to testify to show how perfect the phone call really was.  If only for bragging rights.
