How do I remove a person from a photo?

Are there any apps that I can download on my iPhone to do that? I have a photo where it’s supposed to be a solo picture of me but a guy at the back photobombed. I want to edit him out.

    Retake?

You can take him out but chances are you don't have the matching background to replace it so the best thing you can do is put Brad Pitt's face on his instead. It's just a matter of Mask, Copy, and Paste with the right program like Photoshop, Corel or Gimp.

You can drag the person off The screen and drag
Anew image in to the old image’s place
Golden rule is get new later after each edit then save,

You need a fairly sophisticated image editing program like Photoshop which is not free but there are some free ones that could do it if they have a magic wand that is a tool that could isolate the person then you hit delete. Then you use a tool that looks like a eye dropper which copies a color or texture that matches the background so you can fill in the area you have deleted and make it look like the background. If there is any edge that makes obvious that makes an outline you don't want you use the airbrush device with the background color and cover up the edge. With any painting device there are brush sizes and you end up for the delicate spaying with the smallest brush. If you make a mistake correct it immediately with undo.

Photoshop is the go-to application for this. The tricky bit is usually replacing the background convincingly once you have got shot of him. Snapseed is a good iphone app, but there are loads out there.
