it's not the best thing you can do.... Just think, a mother cow produces milk for her baby so he can gain 1200 pounds the first year.

Of course it's bad. Milk has the information in it for young animals to grow fast and don't let other cells die - that is cancer (causing).

One cup of whole milk provides 149 calories, 8 grams of protein, 12 grams of carbohydrate, 12 grams of sugar, 8 grams of total fat and 5 grams of saturated fat.

2% milk or skim milk have fewer calories but still have almost the same level of carbohydrates and sugar.

Lactose is a natural form of sugar that is present in milk.

So, it really depends on how worried you are about the amount of sugar you have in your diet.  Two servings of diary per day is considered the healthy amount.  Four glasses is more than required to have a healthy amount of diary in your diet.

By the time you drink four glasses of milk, you have consumed more calories than drinking a can of coke and the same amount of sugar as a can of coke.

The only difference is that the milk is actually something healthy for your body when the coke is just completely empty calories.

You don't get fat from consuming fat UNLESS it's trans fats and milk fat is NOT!

The only way you could get fat from regularly consumed milk is IF it is sourced from corn-fed livestock.

If it is grass fed or they use wheat for grain feed like in Australia and NZ, you will NOT gain ANY fat except that which your body needs, primarily for the nervous system (myelin sheathing).

If it is corn-fed, the branched chain amino acids act upon the liver much the same way that alcohol does.

Instead of a beer belly, you'd have a corn-fed milk belly.

If it is anything but skim milk, then yes it is.   There is too much fat content for that to be healthy.
