They need to be in a separate aquarium with a sponge filter rather than a power filter. They require several feedings a day of a combination of infusoria, and newly hatched brine shrimp. Call around to local pet shops to ask if they sell them in frozen form. You should also consider doing partial water changes every other day. This will keep the water from fouling from the frequent feeding. Use a piece of airline tubing to suck up any waste or uneaten food from the tank. I would avoid using any gravel in the tank as a bare bottom is fine and much easier to clean. It will also be easier for the fry to find the uneaten food that makes it to the bottom of the tank. A ten-gallon aquarium, a small heater that is capable of keeping the temperature at 78-80 degrees and a decent thermometer plus the sponge filter and a small air pump are all that you really need. A light might also be nice but is not mandatory. It is imperative that you begin feeding the fry once their yolk sacs have been absorbed or you will find them dying soon after. Like one day after.
