No but I think it is bizarre that Black people want their own dormitories and their own graduation ceremonies in college. This is what we worked to prevent.

Yes. Separation of radically different thought processes would eliminate a lot of hate and hurt feelings. It can likened to school kids wearing uniforms so no ones appearance is different. It's been proven but suppressed that people, no matter who they are, are most comfortable among those of their own culture. It's just natural selection where there is always going to be the rich side of the tracks and the poor side. When government starts telling people who they have to associate with, you've taken away freedom of choice.

you're contradicting yourself. you said "when government starts telling people who they have to associate with, you've taken away freedom of choice." segregation would be the government telling you who you have to associate with.

    We want separation not segregation.

Yes that's right, we're new black people.  We ain't gone beg to be let in to where we not wanted any more.

Let us separate and do something for ourselves!

We have ours and you have yours.

No.  When that happens, one group always loses out.

My mother is an educator and a longtime professional specialist in this area; she's studied the problems for many years. She is also white and grew up in the South.  She says, without qualification, that the only way to ensure equal education for all is to ensure that schools are ethnically and economically diverse.
