Quebec has the highest tax rate and most unaffordable housing in the whole of North America. True?

Houses cost $2,000,000. A dingy apartment in Montreal costs $1,000,000. A shack out in the sticks costs $500,000! Over half the population of the province is Chinese, and only they can afford it. Taxes are ridiculous, as are food prices ($30 for a soda!).

I can't think of ONE American state, or any other Canadian province that's like this. Yeah, the entire North American West Coast (LA up to Vancouver) is cheap by comparison. It's all white out there too.

We all need housing.  Real estate shouldn't be for speculation.
