Why do so many Christians and church members have tattoos if the Bible says they're a sin?

The Bible does not say that tattoos are a sin, unless you are doing so out of remembrance of the dead or out of fear of the dead.

The Old Testament lists many rules and regulations of Judaism that Jesus Christ rejected as unnecessary or even ungodly.

Many had them before getting saved.  And some are what is called "carnal Christians."  It's hard to tell the difference between them and unsaved people.

Probably because they haven't actually read their own holy book, and don't really know what is in it, outside of what is cherry- picked for them in church

The laws forbidding tattoos only applied to ancient Hebrews living during Moses time.

Because they got the tattoos before submitting to Jesus and some don’t read their bibles correctly.
