Trump wants to repeal an anti-corruption law so US businesses could bribe foreigners. Could his timing have been worse?

Where is the global corruption fighter now?

He said during the campaign that sometimes that US businesses had to bribe foreign officials. In other words, he admitted to committing FELONIES. He said on POX "News" a long time ago that the law should be repealed. Trump's an old hand at bribery; he even used funds from his now-defunct "charity" to make "donations" to candidates for Attorneys-General, one of whom is on his impeachment defense team. She dropped an investigation in Florida into the Trump "University" fraud.

Trump is at the center of the global corruption you speak of.

Like Mulvaney said when describing the quid pro quo with the Ukraine: "Bribery is what we do, get use to it." I think bribery using taxpayer funds as leverage to obtain something of value, not for the nation, but for personal domestic political benefit, takes it way too far. Trump knew it was illegal, which is why he used his own private henchmen Giuliani and Parnas, under cover,  instead of using State Dept. personal.

It's hard to fight corruption when Trump is the biggest criminal of them all.

That which is offered without proof can be dismissed without prejudice.  LOL

Trump sees bribery as a normal way to do business, not as corruption.
