How do you find the energy required to change 49.0g of ice at 0.0°C to steam at 100.0°C?

    energy = mass * (heat of fusion + specific heat*temperature change + heat of vaporization)

    so the answer depends on what you take for your heat values.

    For heat of fusion = 334000 J/kg

    and specific heat of water = 4186 J/kg·ºC

    and heat of vaporization = 2256000 J/kg

    I get

    E = 1.47e5 J = 147 kJ
