Are people who are shy basically cognitively dull/slo. And poor at making decisions?
I read that and it seems it could be true. Like we are mentally slow and scared of nothing to the point we dont talk to people in normal situations. We end up looking weird cause what intelligent person would be scared of normal convos?

Many a genius who came up with... well much of what you're using right now to ask your question, they often kept to themselves as well. They found it easier to be alone when thinking, allowing them to come up with the inventions they did. Some of the richest people on earth, they sat on their own, in a very small group, only later to become billionaires. If many an inward type of person told people exactly why they keep to themselves, nobody would like them, or accept them. The extroverts would feel offended, which is why so many quiet people prefer to just let people assume "oh they must be shy". Sometimes it's true, they're shy, fair enough, but sometimes it's quite a lot deeper than that, most times it probably is.
