Bill Clinton was impeached but went on to become the only fool who would endorse Obama, does that mean that impeachment is meaningless?

In 2012, Clinton spoke for Obama and the liberals fawned at his feet.  Clearly an impeachment is practically meaningless and carries no weight whatsoever.

The Democrats are shooting blanks, that's all they have.

Update:

All the other Democrats shunned Obama, and rightfully so.  Clearly they didn't care much for the man.

Pretty much, nothing happens when impeached, the president doesn't automatically lose office. It just means that they've been accused, now comes the trial, which could take a very long time.

Alan Dershowitz, Trumps own lawyer has stated today that he will be making a defense of Trump based on the claim Abuse of Power by the President isn't illegal.

This is him effectively not disputing the facts but arguing a point of law.

He has also stated today he would be personally disappointed if Trump is aquitted.

His own lawyer wants him removed!

When Rod Blago, the illinois governor who tried to Sell the Senate Seat vacated by Barack Obama, the vote against him in impeachment was 100 to Zero.

Impeachment is meaningless if it does not have the backing of both sides of the aisle.

Actually, the vote to impeach was 114-1 and the vote to convict was 59-0.
Hint: as Illinois governor, neither of those votes took place in the U.S. Congress.

Nancy Pelosi said back then Republicans were paralyzed with hatred and were searching for a crime that didn't exist. Clinton committed perjury, that's a serious crime, serious enough for him to lose his law license.

Clinton was never charged with any crime.
And his license to practice law only applied to Arkansas, and was only suspended for five years.  He was never actually disbarred (which is what your statement would actually mean)

Anything Democrats do is meaningless and needs to be reversed.

If it was meaningless when it happened to Clinton, who committed a real crime, it is even more meaningless when it happens to Trump who committed no crime other than getting elected.

Yeah. Impeached for getting his rocks off. Oh yeah. That's really bad. Trump is so innocent right?
