Premiums paid to my United Healthcare supplemental ins, how do they get paid ? Does it come from my Medicare ? I'm now 78 years old.?

    If it's an actual Medicare Supplement you pay it, either by check or EFT.

    If it's a Medicare Advantage Plan, if it has a premium it can be paid by automatic deduction from your Social Security check (this is the most common), by check, EFT, or credit card. Medicare also pays the insurance company a per person amount based on location and star rating. If you have a separate drug plan it can be paid these same ways.

    Ask your agent how yours is paid if you don't know.
