A very large number of countries, substantially in Asia.

Typically that's in Islamic countries. It's yet another reason why religion is such a foul institution.

Just one example, otherwise pages of text will be needed. Cuba is imprisoning religious parents who are resisting Cuba's teaching of atheism in the communist schools. Pastor Ramon Rigal was jailed for 2 years, and his wife Ayda for 1 and a half on 23 April 2019, charged with "acting against the normal development of a minor" [i.e. their own children aged 13 and 9]. Atheism and socialism are actively promoted and taught in state-run Cuban schools. All parents who resist this are being persecuted. Irreligious parents never do object, so this is religious persecution of minorities in Cuba.
That jailing was condemned in a report by the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. Vice-Chair Kristina Arriaga spoke of the Cuban government's systematic assault on religion, which includes singling out religious leaders and activists for harassment and discrimination. Please note that this applies to any religious person, not just Christians, who resists government indoctrination of their children. Oh, and independent lawyer Roberto Jesus Quinones Haces, who wanted to observe the trial of the Rigal's, was detained and severely beaten.

Those nations that strictly regulate religion
nations whose governments outlaw religions (excepting those that are explicitly "legal")
such as North Korea
