Do you agree with, "Love without truth is hypocrisy," and why?

    I agree. Pretty much. It depends, I suppose, on WHAT we are withholding and why.

    Withholding truth is usually a self-centered action, us being concerned with what WE get out of the relationship.

    And love is NOT about being selfish, nor about what WE get out of it. Love is giving.

    Lack of honesty is not so much hypocrisy as it is not being able TO love anyone besides ourselves.

    No, because it's simple minded. I can think of a dozen times when I would lie in order to protect someone.
