Does it make sense, people who become atheists because their prayers are never answered by God?

    That has never happened, we became atheists because we were too bright for the BS.

    Yes the hell it does. That teaches them a lesson saying there's no God.

    That's mostly a tale told by religious leaders who want to you think that atheism comes from childish, superficial reasons. The only atheist I ever heard of who became an atheist from unanswered prayer was desperately praying for the healing of his young brother, who died. The dishonest Christians here would tell you that people become atheists after not getting the X-box they wanted. They're encouraged to believe the worst about atheists.

    That's not an unreasonable motive to add to an already existing list of issues. But no, it is FAR from exclusive in being a motive or in being evidence.

    To people who think someone else can die for their bad it probably makes sense .

     Should your little brother die so your mistakes are made better and forgotten ?

    Atheists realize that Gods are Man made.  Nothing deeper than that.

    As a child I was taught to pray and follow traditional rituals. 

    I'm no longer a child!
