Even though marriage, legally speaking, ends with death, will we still love our earthly spouses in Heaven? Will we still be allowed to have?

relationships with them?

I ask because there's this book called "My Trip to the Sun" where the author went to heaven and was shown the mansion she would share with her husband.

    1. Yes, we shall.

    2. Only if our marriages have been bound/sealed by the apostolic binding power and we have lived worthily of our marriages. The sealing/binding power exists in only one church. Seek, and you shall find.

We will still love them as close relations, but there is no sex in heaven, per Jesus who said we will instead be like the angels in heaven.

If others we knew in this life are also in heaven with us we will know them. We will not have sexual organs nor be married in heaven.

We will love everyone in Heaven, far more than we could ever love anyone on Earth.

The Bible says nothing about not being able to love the people we loved on earth.  Where did you get that idea?  What is says is that there will be no marriage.

    The book is a fantasy.

  • Nothing like that in heaven. Those chosen to serve in heaven will be as the angels having no gender, there is no marriage in heaven, and no relationships. All will worship and serve God. Those chosen to serve in heaven will be kings and priests of God and will rule with Christ Jesus over the earth for 1000 years. Those chosen to serve in heaven only number 144,000, a "little flock".

.... maybe plan on meeting your spouse somewhere else than heaven.  I mean, look at the religious minded answers tonight!  Lol

No .  If Hell exists, would be the place to meet.  You’ll have new resurrection bodies.  Time to catch up and plan a future together...... 😉

People make up stuff all the time.

Why don't you just make up an answer?

No one could ever disprove it...

No matter how ridiculous it is.

That is the beauty of gods .. and pixies 😎

a sensible interpretation of the Hebrew renders these "Mansions" an "Abode/Abiding with God". The Bible tells us little about what Heaven is like for dead Humans but we can presume it is Worshiping God like The Angels. We also know there is no Sex there.
