An 8000 kg car moving at 25 m/s runs out of gas just prior to climbing a hill. ?

Supposing that -40,000 J of work is done upon the car by air resistance, determine the height to which the car will coast up the hill before stopping.

    m/2*V^2 = 4*10^4+m*g*h

    h = (4*10^3*6.25*10^2-4*10^4)/(8*10^3*9.806) = 31.36 m
