Can I drive a forklift over 50mph?

    Most unlikely!! Unless the police say so.

    Also, driving the forklift at this speed will cause very fast engine ware.

    Doesn't sound safe. I interned as an IT intern at a local dried fruit company and the lead mechanic who works on the forklifts told me that the ones they have are limited to less than 10mph.

    A forklift going that fast would tip over easily. That's one reason they're slow.

  • I don't think any stock ones go that fast, but if people can hotrod garden tractors to go 150mph, getting a forklift to hit 50mph doesn't sound like it would be much of a challenge.

      Thatś industrial machinery (not street legal) & probably not on propane fuel but it could be modified
