If beating a suspect, like Rodney King, is wrong why is it OK for an officer to allow their dog to do it?

K-9 officers DO NOT beat suspects. In fact, they use LESS force that required to put you in cuffs if you cooperate.

Dog handlers are expected to follow the same rules as any other officer.

Doggies are "Cute", cuddly, pets. To most people.

Only when faced with one does a person realize that they are Vicious, uncontrollable, wild animals.

I have seen them release dogs on people who were running. And they usually let the dog chew on them for a while before they call them off. If the cop ran up there and started beating the suspect they would be disciplined. Just something I have been wondering about for a while.
