Does anyone know what this is on the gpu? It kind of looks like a liquid stain?

I have a couple EVGA GTX 1080ti SC cards that have this issue. One of my cards is greasy, but the VRM and VRAM temps are fine so I don't see the point of cleaning up the cards and replacing the thermal pads.

It's mineral oil that leaks from the thermal pads. It's safe. However, EVGA should have probably used a better Thermal pad.

You mean the few faint marks above the left hand screw?

It could be just about anything - transfer during packing, who knows...

If it is new, as long as it is under warranty and works OK, I'd not be concerned.

I don't see either, Vincent! Perhaps you should use a editing program to make a circle around the area in question. The pic is also so skinny, (1220 x 250),  I don't see how anyone can see anything! Maybe you should use a lot of white light on the subject as well when you take the pic. The pink and purple lights blend all of the black together so one cannot see any stain!

I can't see what you're talking about in those pics.

That is: I don't see anything that looks like any sort of stain.

It's right above the heatsinks on the black part
