Is it possible that your "Windows 10" might have something to do with Ghosting in games?
Ghosting persists on my new PC equally on both my monitor and TV so I guess it's not my monitor's fault. But the windows installed on it is not very good. Ghosting is usually because of the display, but can crappy Windows have something to do with it?

poor power supply(with bad earth or its overloaded eg by a video card which is not supported power wise by your mainboard/psu), poor video cables(especially if your monitor is using VGA voltages and not digital signals), faulty component internally such as a bad cdrom drive causing lots of noise on the power rails.

Not likely, because it is a common denominator, so developers would work around any problems that Windows 10 was known to cause.
