Its been biased for the left for at least 30 years. When anti communist protesters over turned a police car and rioted in Managua in Nicaragua to protest their government, it wasn't covered at all in the United States but when Daniel Ortega came to the USA the media fawned all over him. This was @1989 or so.

I think most of it is unbiased and just stating the facts.   It seems when the people who do call it biased are really say is they do not like what they are hearing.

Terribly and recklessly biased in the Trump era because of their reaction to Trump. I now rely on AP and Reuters, NPR (some), BBC and some other foreign sources to get real objective factual news in USA.

Mainstream media usually have a slight bias, which is why it is always good to read many sources.

( The word 'media' is plural, but this is not known apparently by a lot of people.

    One medium, two media).

Yellow journalism? Isn't that basically like modern day click-bait? If so yes it's the same they like drama, controversy and shocking people, it gets views.

But yes they're biased also, it doesn't take long to figure that out, all you have to do is independent research and you'll find lies which push some form of agenda.

They are not only biased they are not educated enough in history to warrant the high pay they get for their jobs. They also practice political correctness and heavily censor the news constantly blurring out images which was never done in the past and blurring images is censorship. If they have to blur it I would rather they con't show the mage. Because of PC they refuse to discuss the religion of Islam in an open way because they are afraid of insulting Muslims thinking that will help prevent terrorist attacks but the opposite is true. If they discussed the connection between verses in the Koran and the killing of non-believers they would reduce the number of people who are radicalized. The Liberal media has turned against Israel wanting them to negotiate a two state solution based on giving up the territory that Israel gained in a defensive war in 1967 and both the leaders of Hamas and the PLO are dictators never having called for new elections and yet they fault others for negotiating with dictators. They often do not distinguish between immigrants and illegal aliens call them all immigrants. They did nothing to prevent the invasion of Iraq by refusing to ask tough questions before the war started. Who ever said Weapons of Mass destruction was a legitimate reason to invade a sovereign state. It is not in fact invading a sovereign state without provocation is a war crime which was the first charge against the Nazis at Nuremberg the second was Crimes Against Humanity. We committed both when we invaded Iraq and the media did nothing to prevent it;.They did not question Regime Change as a reason to invade Iraq and yet they attack Bush for killing a foreign leader? According to their accepting it regime change as a reason to invade Iraq and kill Saddam Hussein we can kill any foreign leader we like in the name of regime change/ We no longer have a free press but a biased and heavily censored media. run by under educated journalists who do not understand the use of logic and reason but rely more on emotional arguments.

In my country....  the newspapers like to report bad news on China and America.  People like bad news on those two countries since the people in my country dislike those twos.   So it is so F#$# bias.....  nobody has a professionalism anymore these days.

People especially journalists cannot report a news as a 3rd party..... being neutral on the subject.

  • It's obviously extremely biased, how can it not be whilst maintaining a profit incentive or working for a government?
