So, volcanoes can result in 3 different things...

    1. Fire - Covered under a standard policy

    2. Earthquake - Caused by the ground movement associated with the eruption...covered by earthquake coverage.

    3. Slides (mud or otherwise) - covered by a flood policy.

So, volcanic activities are all covered by one of these three policies...all sold separate in California.

Don't presume, READ the Fine Print... Riot, Acts of God, etc.

It falls under 'acts of god', you don't get a policy with that in it.

"act of God" is a hollywood term, or a lawyer term. Not insurance.  Lots of policies cover acts of God.

None. Bank your money, bank as much as you can.

There are no active, nor inactive, volcanoes in the Los Angeles area.

    Double your Earthquake coverage.
