Is karaoke heckling okay?

Is it okay to be the Simon Cowell of the group and judge? Make witty comments about how people sing and their mistakes? Sometimes outright say someone cant sing?

I believe I have talent as a karaoke judge, Would the group appreciate me?

Update:

I can even impress people saying I can sing like Sinatra or Freddie Mercury and  than just judge others, and no need to expose the lie and reveal the truth that I sound like crap. People will naturally believe everything a judge says.

I hope people will believe anything a judge says

Update 2:

If I am the one who acts like the one on the high horse, people will try to impress me. How else could I get away with the lie that I am a good singer without having to be put to the test.

You have a bad attitude. You should be cheering the other singers' best efforts, and try your best to max out yours. This is karaoke, not a contest for money or a band tryout. Loosen up.

Pretty sure the group would not invite you a second time.

It is never acceptable to be deliberately cruel.
