Pasta salad with bbq?

Would pasta salad go with bbq chicken, ribs, and baked beans?! I wanted to make potato salad but don’t have all the ingredients and don’t feel like running to the store??

Certainly, and it’s probably a better combo with the meal, because it’s lighter.

Yep. It's a very common bbq side dish

Pasta salad would be fine. If you've ever been to Hawaii, most everything is served with macaroni salad. Is there nothing green on the menu?

Yes, pasta salad will go nicely. Especially if you add cheese, tomato, black or green olives (or both).

I've eaten pasta salad with bbq, and taken some to a friends bbq party for a side dish.

I don't see why pasta salad wouldn't be good with that.

Pasta salad goes very will with BBQ either a mayo based or a lighter vinegar and oil based.

If your BBQ is real spicy mayo based would be more cooling.

Sure, find a citrusy/vinegary dressing recipe to give it some brightness and it will compliment the sweetness of the baked beans
