It's an idea that Napoleon tried to bring to fruition about 220 years ago. Despite the wide economic disparity & linguistic quarrels, it can succeed if there's a common will to let it happen. In many ways, it's much like Canada. The pessimists & the greedy will try to disrupt it, but there are far more benefits to the union than risks.
It may be better off with the quitting of the U.K., which has ever been a contrarian & a whiner. If the world is to continue instead of ending in nuclear war, we must learn to get along & shed fervent nationalism & dogmatic religion. We don't need more armed conflicts. Those only turn millionaires into billionaires & provide steady work for the undertakers & construction companies.

If the EU had simply stayed a free travel and trade zone between the members it would have been OK. However, once the EU Parliament was taken over by leftists wanting to destroy the western democracies they tried to do that.

It's a group of nations with an economic plan to make it a unique club like the USA a group of states under a single government they all respect and and have a say in , of course it has problems but then all nations do , but to stand up to big sharks its safety . No one is big enough to rape it and leave it dead off the coast of it as little England hase chosen
