The new U.S. $1 Innovations coins, should one collect them, or not?

    That's up to you. The US Mint has come up with something new to market, just as it did with the state quarters and presidential dollars. The only ones that are worth anything are those few that escaped the Mint with errors. The silver versions of some of these are sold by the Mint for far above the value of the silver, so it's only going to be the ones that are made in very small numbers for some reason that will have any serious value, and that is something nobody knows at the time.

    Collect them if it gives you pleasure. I advise not collecting them if future value is your only goal.

    Collect them if you want to,and don't if you don't want to,I would not do it if you are trying to make money.
