American Christians. Why do you love Jesus so much when His religion is essentially a socialist movement ?

The church began as a movement in Jerusalem.
It became a philosophy in Greece, an institution in Rome...
A culture in Europe and, when it came to America, it became a business...
A highly profitable business 😎
"Only in the US where the rightwing has taken over the church and operate it like a business and to support their politics.
But, in Latin America the church is often tied to socialistic ideals and liberation theology"

Socialism is a social system advocating State ownership and control of the means of production Socialism is not a new idea. Greek philosophers Aristotle and Plato wrote about it. Later, during the 16th-century Protestant Reformation, Thomas Müntzer, a radical German Catholic priest, demanded a classless society
and there ar many more historical facts that explain about socialistic movements
For example Karl Marx, taught that by means of class struggle, history progresses step-by-step; once the ideal political system has been found, history in that sense will end. This ideal system will resolve the problems of previous societies. Everyone will live in peace, freedom, and prosperity, with no need for governments or military forces. Sound nice right? Sir Thomas More wrote about Utopia
Politicians and other people are still looking for the good place. utopia It is still “no place” to be found.
Jesus Christ on the other hand always advocated "Gods Kingdom" instituted by his heavenly father Jehovah. The whole bibles theme is Gods kingdom. this kingdom or we call it government now is real, but it is to be ruled from heaven by Gods son Jesus Christ and there people will be equal happy and even will live forever. Prophecies in gods word are clear but we have to study and read them to get understanding that God's purpose for the earth was and is for people to live here in peace forever Had Adam not been disobedient he would still be here today
Remember the punishment for not obeying the simple command not to eat from a certain tree? it simply was death nothing more none existence.
Please read Daniel 2:44 Psalm 37 10,11 .Revelation 21:3,4 and or go to www.jw.org and enjoy learning that Jesus was not introducing the worlds socialism

I don't think you have a very clear perception of what being a true Christian is.

Luke 4:43 is one of many references where Jesus said: “I must also declare the good news of the Kingdom of God to other cities, because for this I was sent.”
Yes, the focus of Jesus’ teachings were not his own opinions, but that of God’s Kingdom. Jehovah God set up a heavenly government and chose Jesus to be its King. The Bible calls this government God’s Kingdom. Jesus is “the King of those who rule as kings and Lord of those who rule as lords.” (1 Timothy 6:15) Jesus is able to do more good than any human ruler ever could, and he is more powerful than all human rulers put together.
The Bible makes it clear that God’s Kingdom is far superior to any man-made government and is the only solution for the perfect unification or global mankind.Source(s): What Is God’s Kingdom? https://www.jw.org/en/library/books/bible-study/wh...

I love Jesus because He loves me.
Jesus was not a socialist. He did not want us to trust in government, he wanted us to trust in Him.
Loving God with all of our heart and loving others as we want to be loved is what true love is---selfless rather than selfish.
Jesus knows what is best for us.
Seek Jesus now and once you find Him---never let Him go.

A "socialist movement"? Do you even know what socialism is?
a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
Jesus had nothing to do with any of that. His message was about salvation, not socialism.

They are brainwashed. Plain and simple. If god and Jesus were real you wouldn't need insurance companies delivering healthcare, it would be delivered by a Christian government.

Where do you get the idea that Christians love Jesus?
I've never seen any act like they do.
Especially none on here.

Bible: Acts 2:44-45: Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
Karl Marx: From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.

It isn't a "movement". It is the road to eternal happiness.
