Should Trump continue to block his top aides from testifying in his impeachment trial? Why or why not?

The trial is already fixed by the spineless Republicans. Moscow Mitch has already said that the GOP is going to be coordinating with the White House. Can you say "Collusion?" The Obstruction is already clear as day, and now the GOP is showing their willingness to help in said obstruction. From Trump's position, he has no reason to stop the obstruction; he's not going to be called to account for it by the Repubs.

The Constitution makes it clear.  The Senate runs the trial HOWEVER THEY WANT.  It makes no specification what so ever that it even vaguely resemble a criminal trial at all, as a matter of fact, they could dismiss all the evidence simply by vote.  There are no Federal rules of evidence here.

No, it should be decided by the courts the way it has for 200+ years.

If you could convince me that this was a fair and impartial trial, then I would recommend that Trump let his top aides testify.  However, several Democratic senators have already stated during the debates that they are going to vote to impeach. So since this appears to be more of a political charade than an actual trial, I would encourage Trump to not go along with it.

Yes because Democrats will try to catch them in a perjury trap for not being able to remember something and use it to blackmail them to tell lies against the president. They've tried doing it before. Trump has executive privilege and can keep them from becoming victims of this witch hunt.

Yes, if he wants to delay his inevitable prison term. No, if he has nothing to hide.
