LA to the TX?
I want to ship my car from LA to the TX, what should I do?

If you do not want it driven, then you could find a car hauler. They may have other cars they are delivering to Texas. People transport cars from auctions all the time. I would start there. If that doesn't work find a moving company it relocation service that is credible. I'm assuming if you live in LA you have money.
PS. Living here in Texas is cheaper. But the people that relocate to here have a hard time relocating back. Just FYI

Get in it, and drive it from LA to TX.

Just google "shipping a car between states", lots of options will come up. It would be significantly cheaper to drive it yourself if you can.

What is "the TX"? We don't use articles with state names.

Collect the information about the car (VIN, owner, plate number, year, exact model) and check its value to sell instead of shipping it.
Understand insurance, yours and shippers
Decide how you want it shipped as a closed expensive trailer or open multi-car (cheaper). Decide on time frame and someone available and a location that a large trailer can get to, or you will drive it to a meeting location for pickup.
You will need address of pickup and dropoff.
More flexible in time and date of pickup an delivery is lower cost.
Understand that many are brokers that get the lowest cost for you.
Quote three to five companies.
I used Amerifreight.
Larger cities have more shipping between them and LA can be Los Angeles or Louisiana. As a general rule, it is more expensive than you think it will be.
