Actually, he can't. He can only end evildoers, and he will purify the Earth when his son, Jesus Christ, makes his public return.

    Why not, you ask?

God has to let us do good so he can bless and reward us. He can't be arbitrary about these things; he is as bound by eternal laws as we are by natural laws, and he is loving, just, and merciful. He has to let us do good.

The problem is that the ability to do good is also the ability to do evil. God can't separate them. Nobody can. He can't stop evil without also stopping good, and that would destroy his plan for our happiness and salvation. He has to let us do evil if that is what we insist on doing. Normally he can step in only when entire societies become irredeemably corrupt.

Because the only way He could do so would be to take back the gift of free will He gave to humans. Which would turn us into mindless robots who could do only what God had programmed us to to. And He loves us too much to do that to us.

The Bible writer James puts part of the blame for wickedness on humans. He states: “Each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.” (James 1:14, 15) Individuals may act according to their improper desires. Consider, too, man’s inherited sin. The power of sin can amplify wrong cravings and bring about very bad consequences. (Romans 7:21-23) Indeed, inherited sin has “ruled as king” over mankind, enslaving humans with wicked works that cause great suffering. (Romans 5:21) Moreover, wicked men can influence others to become corrupt.—Proverbs 1:10-16. According to the Bible, we are living in the last days. Many Bible prophecies about the last days are coming true. Soon God will remove all wickedness. After that, Satan and his demons will not mislead people. And all those who want to obey God and accept his Kingdom will see every promise of God come true.

The assumption is that He can and that He is good. An evil God would not help or if we are talking the Biblical God, even create evil.

God is not a favor machine,

and God is not a control mechanism.

    God does not hinder presently-occurring

or potential circumstances, or prevent their conclusions

and consequences from taking place, and such remains

the case with Human behavior and whatever results from it.

God created life so that it can go on as it will, and He will

never be so desperate as to control things before the fact

just because someone may not like the way it ends.
