Some immigrants from Asia in the USA that were foreign born do not have western names, right?

    Yes, most immigrants to the USA from Asia keep their Asian names. Sometimes they will give their American-born children a Western first name and then an Asian middle name.

    That would be correct. Likewise most western born people living in Asia do not have Asian names.

    most of them don't. the ones that do probably changed it to adapt or as a way to fit in to western society

    Nope, all of them are named Bob Jones.  Even the girls.  It's really confusing.

    So what?  Many who were born in the US to parents who immigrated here have non-Western names, as well.

    What does it matter?  Show respect, learn to pronounce their names correctly and move on.
